Who We Are.

LSNDC is the Louisiana Services Network Data Consortium. We are a statewide network of the seven Continua of Care, or “CoCs,” that serve as the federally recognized homeless coalitions for their geography. These CoCs are collections of stakeholders including non profits, homeless service providers, government entities, people with lived experience of homelessness and other stakeholders who are dedicated to ending homelessness within our service areas.

The primary purpose of the LSNDC System is to provide a client and service data management tool to aid the seven regional Continua of Care to end homelessness in Louisiana.

Currently, LSNDC collectively represents a vast number of agencies that provide all types of services to families and individuals, and has assisted in touching the lives of thousands annually throughout Louisiana.

Statewide Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) Benefits

There are many benefits of a statewide services network, for both provider organizations and the clients receiving services. Organizations gain a historical view of the services a client has received throughout the state, and can see what has and has not worked.  Communities learn where and how often a client enters the system, their physical and financial conditions at the time and so on, and can better tailor services to meet those needs.  Gaps in services that allow people to fall through the cracks are highlighted and brought to attention.  As well, a shared database prevents duplications in service and helps maximize community resources.

As a state, we need to pull together to help those in need, utilizing fewer resources while providing more assistance. By collaborating, we can better serve the needs of Louisiana, and LSNDC provides an important tool in this process.
